Tangalooma Wild Dolphins - by Nell & Liz

26th – 29th Dec 2008

On the 5th day, we left Gold Coast to Moreton Island. We took a boat from Brisbane Wharf to Moreton Island. I went up the boat’s upper deck and the wind was very strong but I like the feeling of wind blowing onto my face.

Our motel in Tangalooma Resort, Moreton Island was dirty but luckily there was a nice balcony overlooking the sea and the toilet was royal. When it was time for bed, we brushed our teeth and snugged into bed. Next morning, we went to Tanga kids club, it was fun. We get to make our own jewellery and get our face painted. The lady painted a very beautiful butterfly on my face! We took photos with our painted face.

In the evening, we queue up to …feed the dolphins. Our turn came, we washed our hands and picked a fish. The dolphins were all ready, we put our hand in the water and the dolphins took the fish from us.

I ate yummy food at Tangalooma Resort.

I saw dolphins.

I swam at the swimming pool and I did a somersault in the water.

We were sad to leave Moreton Island. On the last day, we drove to Brisbane Airport and we shouted “Good Bye Brisbane! And flew off.
